Modge Podge

Tomorrow morning i have jury duty. Joy of joys. LOL And the day before Halloween to boot... so if they select me.... gulp... what kind of freaks will be on trial the next day? :)I SHOULD be doing this right now....... Instead i have a munchkin who keeps coming up with new and improved "costumes" ! lol This one was a riot... she says she's a "McDonalds Dog" see that blue thing next to her mouth? That's her microphone for the drive through. bahahahahaha!!! (and they turned a shirt inside out and wrote McDonalds in PERMANENT ink on the shirt. sigh.)
And... instead i am doing THIS.
I figure if i am going to be sitting in juror selection all day, i might as well get some hand piecing done! Praying they let me take my little kid scissors in with me!
And THIS. (too bad MY numbers aren't that high in my ledger!! lol)
Thank you for all your comments on the shop!!
It's been an insane week to say the least :)
Have a blessed day!!!!

Oh my goodness Bren!!!! You're hysterical! "what kind of freaks will be on trial the next day"?!??! LOL! I was laughing so hard I think the neighbor heard me! Careful with what you bring to JD... here in NJ they won't allow scissors, sewing needles, crochet hooks or knitting needles, and if you get called into the court room to answer juror (selection) questions, you have to leave all magazines, books, etc, downstairs in the main holding area... That quilt material is way to beautiful for sticky fingers to find... anyways, I think with your sense of humor, JD should go by quick! Good Luck!

Bren...I had jury duty just a few months ago and couldn't bring anything at all in...not even a piece of paper and pencil. Guess they want it all the info fed to you trapped in the creases of your brain. Problem is, at 51, the creases don't trap like they used to. I absolutely loved jury duty...think I could be a professional juror!

I would go nuts if I had to sit still all day and do nothing, lol. I am glad I don't have to do it, with my back and bones, I cannot sit that long period.

I had JD a few years ago and I loved it, but maybe that's just the nerdy side of me coming out. I met lots of neat people and was on an interesting case that took 4 days.....we did get to go home at night.
