Here's a sneak peek of those orange blocks' true purpose...
The back of the baby quilt I'm calling Tutti-Fruitti
These orange michael miller dots were just screaming at me to be the high light and sole focus of their own quilt. The front is very simple, as is the back. And even though i LOVE the front, and the simplistic geometric use of one fabric... the quilted back stole my heart. LOL
I knew i was going to call it Tutti-Fruitti, because that tangerine just didnt want to be called anything else. :) So to add to the flavor I went with biig swirls in the quilting. Doesn't this scream CANDY SHOP to you?!?
I'm half way done with the binding. Will finish it up tonight while watching Ghost Whisperer :)
Hoping the swirls come out just as cool looking after washing!

What a sweet quilt, Bren! Love the simplicity of it! It reminds me of those big swirly lolipops that are wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow! Can't wait to see the front!
That is wonderful and the quilting is so fun, perfect and beautiful baby quilt.

I LOVE this. And, your quilting is better all the time...really like this swirly stuff.
What a pretty quilt, is the quilting hand done or do you use a machine? Please do not be offended by my question, I myself do not quilt and am in owe of those who do. All your quilts are just lovely.
The back of your baby quilt is awesome, Bren. I love the color. Can't wait to see what the front looks like.
I LOVE IT! Your quilting is so nice. It really stands out on this quilt!
Your quilt are beautiful and I just love what you are doing on the backs of them. Such talent.
