2 Finishes to show you
The bumpy crinkles just make me want to curl up in any quilt straight out of the dryer! What can i say ... I've always been a texture girl!! :)
The back, although a very washed out pic. The above picture is more true to color.
Girly baby quilt is done also. I love how this one came out!!
Natural light is always more accurate!
I bound it with a dark gray kona, which complimented the pinks I think. As well as all the business in the quilt.
So... had a little ER visit last night. We were outside enjoying the gorgeous spring sunshine, and my honey was fixing the gutters. I was just sitting there minding my own business. LOL And the dang heavy metal ladder sprang loose and fell on my head! :(
Dude
Do you know how much that hurt?!?!
I swear it was like something out of a cartoon!
Felt like i was pounded into the ground by an anvil!
Snot good.
Anyway... Praise God! He was definitely looking out for me! I am ok. Lots of blood and bunches of stitches and a CT scan later, I am home and nursing a honker headache! Could have been soo much worse, with how hard that sucker hit me!
WAS going to work on quilting the windmill quilt today. But i think i'm just going to take it easy. Maybe pop in a movie and stay on my soft SAFE cozy couch and work on some hand quilting today. LOL

Wow! That must have been quite a hit! Do take care and pay attention to any strange symptoms ~ that would have scared me to pieces!!!
OMG Bren!!! That HAD to hurt so BAD!!! I lift those dang ladders to do my gutters in my home and they are SOOOOOOO HEAVY! So glad you got away with bumps and bruises and that the CT was clear! Geeeeeez! Curl up under those quilts ya' just made and take it easy!! Wowie! Hugs to you!!!
I know that feeling, I stay clear when my husband is working on things, lol. Today though, he got the stitches. Will remind him to put his saw shield down, next time.
I love the crinkly look after washing. I hope you take it easy today and let him pamper you;)
Debbie

So happy things were not worse! If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all...lol! Hope you took it easy today and your head is feeling better.
Love that first quilt!
Pug hugs :)

Oh my goodness Bren!! So glad it wasn't much worse. Amazing how things happen so quickly, huh? Rest up and take it easy. You'll be back to quilting up a storm. Which by they way, the one's you've shown here are wonderful!! Love, love that crinkly look....
ouch for sure Bren - so glad you are okay except for the honking headache. Oh my goodness can't even image the thonk of surprise when it hit! Take care

Your quilts are great ~ always! Hey... how are you? It took me awhile to get to your blog & now I hear this. Are ya doing good? Too scary!
Bren hope your feeling okay after such a hard blow. Your quilts are wonderful...love the crinkled look.
Hey Bren - I was able to attend the Denver Hook-In over the weekend, and really expected to see you there. I did see Judy, but she says no one has seen you for ages! Sorry to have missed you.
Your quilts are gorgeous and I sure hope that head is healing.
