2 Finished Quilts & the ER

2 Finishes to show you
The bumpy crinkles just make me want to curl up in any quilt straight out of the dryer! What can i say ... I've always been a texture girl!! :) The back, although a very washed out pic. The above picture is more true to color.
Girly baby quilt is done also. I love how this one came out!!
My cheapo little kodak camera doesnt do well with flash.
Natural light is always more accurate!
the back
I bound it with a dark gray kona, which complimented the pinks I think. As well as all the business in the quilt.
So... had a little ER visit last night. We were outside enjoying the gorgeous spring sunshine, and my honey was fixing the gutters. I was just sitting there minding my own business. LOL And the dang heavy metal ladder sprang loose and fell on my head! :(
Dude
Do you know how much that hurt?!?!
I swear it was like something out of a cartoon!
Felt like i was pounded into the ground by an anvil!
Snot good.
Anyway... Praise God! He was definitely looking out for me! I am ok. Lots of blood and bunches of stitches and a CT scan later, I am home and nursing a honker headache! Could have been soo much worse, with how hard that sucker hit me!
WAS going to work on quilting the windmill quilt today. But i think i'm just going to take it easy. Maybe pop in a movie and stay on my soft SAFE cozy couch and work on some hand quilting today. LOL

I know that feeling, I stay clear when my husband is working on things, lol. Today though, he got the stitches. Will remind him to put his saw shield down, next time.

I love the crinkly look after washing. I hope you take it easy today and let him pamper you;)

Hey Bren - I was able to attend the Denver Hook-In over the weekend, and really expected to see you there. I did see Judy, but she says no one has seen you for ages! Sorry to have missed you.
