Barely a post :)
I've been down with this rsv junk for 3 weeks now.
Thought i was going to hack up a lung with as bad as the coughing was.
But right at the 2 week mark, i started feeling better. Soo thankful!
20%... then 40%... and then beautifully I was 90 %! Coughing up the last of the junk... or so i thought.
Yesterday it's like everything came back - with a vengance! ? ?
Chest hurts now... feels like someone is sitting on it?
Is this just the nature of the beast?? (this virus' m.o. ?)
Or do i need to get antibiotics? Anyone out there gotten this nasty stuff and gotten through it WITHOUT
antibiotics??

ohboy...so sorry to hear that you're sick again. Hope you get rid of it! Are you sure it's not pneumonia?

Hey Bren, I would see a doc if I was you...at this point probably need an antibiotic. Better safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon....

Hope you feel well soon. In my area the flu is going around like wildfire along with colds which seem to settle in the chest. Might be time to visit the doctor, a speedy recovery to you. Happy Spring
Sorry to hear that the nasty bug got you down. I'd give a call to my pharmacist, they know more than the doctor about this. They can tell you if you should see a doctor. Hope you get well soon.. JB
I hope you have gone to the docs by now. I have had it on and off since November, one after the other and I always end up on cillin, not fun. I hope you feel better soon.

Bren, how awful. We had a woman at the hook in this week that is suffering terribly. they gave her antibiotics, she thought it went away, but came back again. The doctor told her that if she wasn't a diabetic, that he would have put her on some steroids. He put her on antibiotics again, and the strongest cough medicine he could give her. I really hope you get some help for it. I would hate for it to get worse on you. Get well sooooon!!!!
