Catalog

I got my new catalogs back from the printers the other day. And last night I printed off the price sheet and order form and folded and stapled 60 of them. Yay! Still have more to do, but that's enough for the hook-in and that's where my focus is right now. :) I think they turned out great! They will be available on our website later today, for $6.

And since Jacque made that awesome header for me, I got to sit and watch Dancing with the Stars before I fell into bed! I'm a self professed nerd. LOL I don't watch much TV - I pretty much nixed it out of my diet about 9 or 10 years ago - just too much negativity, and yuck stuff!

But about two or three years ago my girlfriend talked me into watching American Idol! haha! I watched it once and was HOOKED!! So this is the third season we are watching and loving! Also got sucked into Dancing with the Stars, and So ya think you can dance! Seeing a pattern here? :D Good wholesome shows! So anyway... we record them on the DVR and then it's a true treat to sit down and watch one when I have the time!

Who do you think are the contenders this year? That Jason sure is good!! And Kristy Yamagoochi (i know the spelling is wrong! ack!) is awesome! But I just love Steve Guttenburg - and i think they were too harsh on him - i think he did GREAT! I'm actually enjoying them ALL this year! Who's your fave?

New Header!!

Oh my gosh! Look at what my girlfriend Jacque did for me!! She took those cool letters and made me a new header for my blog! (since i am such a tard that i couldn't figure it out! LOL) THANK YOU THANK YOU JACQUE!!! You're the best!!! I so love you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo bren :)

Monday Back to Work

Ok, so just HOW KEWL are these??!!

I was doing my morning blog cruise with my coffee, and low and behold the Nesting Place had the link to produce these!! So yes... i proceeded to waste a whole hour playing with it! LOL! And trying to figure out how I could make the first one into the header on my blog? I'm sure it's not an Einstien thing, but everything I have tried has not worked. :(

So for now I will have to abandon it and go get to work! LOL But tonight, when i plop down at my desk, all tired and ready for some down time, you can better believe this is what I will be dorkin around with!! hahaha!

Now I am off to draw out 10-12 patterns. They are very time consuming, and this will be the majority of my day. I am busily getting ready for the Denver Hook-in on the 12th, and need to get orders filled that came in over the weekend. I got my new catalogs back yesterday from the printers and they turned out soooo good!! I'm very excited and just thrilled to pieces that they came out as well as they did! I will be putting my kids to work this week, since they have the whole week off from school. (yes yes.. slave labor.. blah blah blah. But they WANT to help!! And i'd be stupid to turn down two extra sets of arms when so many of the things I need to do are very mundane and time consuming! LOL! I'm very thankful for their sweetness and desire to help their mama!!)

So with that, I'm off! If you happen to know how to make these into one picture - let me know!! Pretty please? I just LOVE them!!!

No Pictures

Sorry I have no pictures of rugs I can post at the moment! But several others are hookin and postin like mad! Make sure you check out Maria's blog - she set a challenge of finishing all her UFO's and has gotten 4 done so far! And be sure to see Sunnie's blog, as she is hooking a fairly large rug and is documenting her progress daily! Soooo fun to watch!! Thank you so much for your prayers!!!! I know they've been heard! Thank you for taking the time to do that for me - I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate it! It's been an odd couple of weeks, and knowing that people were praying in my stead helped me immensly! I'm busily working on orders, and dying for the Denver Hook-in on April 12th. Washing wool, dying wool, tagging everything, and trying to organize along the way! 3 of my kids are sick with the crud. :( all at varying stages of it, and i am doing my best not to kiss on them and nagging them to wash their hands constantly. LOL Emily has asthma, and I'm praying she doesn't get it! And I just can't afford a bout of bronchitis right now - which is what it turns into the minute I get it! So staying positive, and proactive about it, and airborne has become my best friend! LOL I've set aside my big honkin rug for a while, and am currently working on a smaller challenge rug - ugh.. get this... in a SIZE 6 !! (and some #4's !!! can you believe i just said that??! LOL) Yes, it's taking forever! But because the size of the rug was determined by the challenge, I couldn't go any bigger, and this design was just begging to be hooked - soooo to hook it, it has to be done in the smaller cuts. ugh. DEFINITELY a CHALLENGE for me!!!!!! LOL I will post pictures of both after the challenges are over. :) Wishing I had more new designs hooked up for the hook-in, but this last year I have mostly hooked on things that are not for sale. It's been nice! :) But that also means I don't have many new things to hang at the show! Ah well. There's always wool! LOL! Speaking of which, I'd better get back at it! Prayers

Not much to say right now. I've not been posting much. I have been struggling with some health issues. May I ask those of you that are believers to pray for me? The Holy Spirit knows what needs to be prayed for... so rest in the Spirit and pray in the Spirit, and He will do all the work!
